Parent Check-In

General Information and Schedule

Parent check-in begins one week before school starts. Parents and their Palms students come to school to turn in completed emergency forms and other required district forms, receive the student's schedule and books, purchase PE clothes and annual planners from the student store (cash only!), and sign up for an LAUSD Passport Portal account. 

Here's the schedule for 2018 Parent Check-In:

  • 6th grade: Monday, August 6, 8-11 am
  • 7th grade: Thursday, August 9, 8-11 am
  • 8th grade: Friday, August 10, 8-11 am
  • Make-up day, all grades: Friday, August 10, 1-3 pm
Forms to Bring

Please complete and sign the following forms and bring them to Parent Check-In. (Forms were mailed home earlier in the summer.)

  • Student emergency information form
  • Parent publicity form
  • Student health policies form
  • RUP form
  • Cell phone policy
  • Proof of Tdap booster shot (7th grade families only)
