People in cities, communities, and villages worldwide recognize the International Day of Peace in their own way.

They may observe a minute of silence at noon, write poetry or create visual art, hold intercultural and interfaith meetings or workshops, plant peace poles, or hold concerts, festivals, parades, flag ceremonies, and sporting events in the spirit of peace.

How will you recognize the International Day of Peace?
